loved the show and the humour Ive just got a problem in my kitchen cupboards with tiny mites usually black in colour but there has been some patterned too, I have cleaned out the cupboards by washing them down but should I use something more powerful to eliminate them fully.
thanks for your help
This is going to sound really weird, but do pest control normally deal with spiders?
I had a HUGE one in my bath the other day, and almost considered calling out the ratpack to deal with it. (This had absolutely nothing to do with the 2 lovely looking gentlemen that happen to deal with the pests.)
Do you know of any ways to stop spiders from entering the house?
hi george here loved the show and i was just woundering if you have ever thought of a rat smoker used to smoke rats out of their holes into the open jaws of a terrier i think it would be brilliant for you 2 and more effective
Hi George, its a good point and very interesting however unlike you good country folk it is not the best application in a city environment. It would certainly be a good peaice of kit to have in stock though.Where would I get one? Ricky
Hi Becky,we have gone out to collect spiders from properties before however the spider is our friend! they keep the flies away and cause you no harm with regards to infestation.Did you know on average we swallow 8 spiders a year in our sleep? Becky..keep your mouth shut and youll be fine! all the best Ricky
Love the show, best thing on TV for ages! Any chance of another series in the pipeline?!
I’m based in Surrey and am hoping to get into the pest control business. I’ve looked into doing the BPCA/RSPH level 2 certificate but I’m wondering if I would need to do any other courses/qualifications in order to operate my own business and whether this course would give me all of the relevant knowledge. Any advice you can give me would be great.
Keep up the good work!
Easy Boyz you two are the best thing since sliced bread. Good to see two charming characteristic blokes. I heard through facebook that there’s another brother in your family and he’s meant to be one funny f****r too, why wasn’t he in the show? will he be in series two?
Guys, do you realise what a monster you’ve created in the Charlie Fan Club?
If you don’t start selling mugs with Charlie’s picture on them soon, I’m going to have to photograph some Charlie look-a-likes and make one myself.
Please advise the minute you start selling Charlie merchandise.
And hurry up and start filming Series 2. COME BACK SOON!!
Absolutely loved the show. A massive rat has taken up residence in my kitchen. I know this is going to sound a bit strange; I have been trying for several days to humanely get rid of it ie; chasing round the kitchen after it with a broom lol. Anyway, the rat is still here and at the end of my tether decided reluctantly to put poison down only the clever devil has obviously realised what it is and steers well clear off it. Are there any humane traps that can be purchased by the general public ? I really don’t want to have to kill it but understand the health implications if it’s not removed A.S.A.P. Would be really grateful for any advice you can offer.
Hi liverbird…you sure its a rat?not a mouse? the question is what are you going to do with it once youve caught it? you cannot release it into the wild. The second question is where did it come from? there must be others…. You could put a trap down, available in most hardware shops but you need to leave the trap in place for a couple of days before it takes effect.are you based in London? any more questions just mail.hope this helps and good luck!
get on the bpca course mate and good luck Simon.any questions once youve done that get in touch and we can chat. Its not just about the pests, its a business so be prepared for very long days!
Come on Ricky, we know Charlie’s the brains behind your organisation.
Why doesn’t he have his own profile on the Forum?
Charlie, Ricky’s waiting for us to make a mug with your picture on it. We reckon he should be making them for YOU. What do you think?
And when are we going to see you on our screens again?
Mouse !!!! LOL…Trust me, this thing is all rat. Nicked my lunch out of my hand a couple of weeks ago when I was sat in my garden. Still had no luck with the poison. Even tried covering it in peanut butter lol. Doesn’t matter what I put down the dam thing is clever enough to erm…..smell a rat !! Came downstairs this morning to find it in my living room on the dining table so all thought of humanely catching it has gone out of the window. Have been down to local D.I.Y store and bought some rather torturous looking traps. Hope using peanut butter on the poison won’t put them off going near the traps !!. I live in Barking near the river so unfortunately the area is crawling with them. My neighbour has a load of them under her garden shed and i’m guessing that’s where they are coming from. Have put the traps in the garden too and dread to think how many i’m going to catch. Sitting at the computer nervously awaiting the sound of a large snap lol Wishing i’d bought the humane one’s now lol Many thanks for your reply. Will keep you posted.
No luck as yet with the dam thing. Will not go anywhere near the traps. Gonna try with chocolate instead and see if I have a better chance of success. Have had the traps down for a week now and it’s not in the least bit bothered by them. Even the ones outside along the rat run have been completely avoided. Will try again and see what happens with the chocolate.
hi george here and you can find the rat smoker athttp://www.shootright.co.uk/html/rat_smoker.html even though your in the city it would be good for those triky garden jobs
its no so much the cost mate its the effort and time! I recommend you go and get quallified first and work out all the cost after.pest control in London is probably a little different to yorkshire pest control so have a chat wih a couple of the lads there.Good luck mate
hi i here creaking under the bathit must be the floorbords but could rats get under there and i live in bristol if we had a problem do you come to bristol
Well 3mths have passed and the rat is STILL living it up in the comfort of my attic along with half the contents of my laundry basket. Don’t know whether to laugh or cry. The only food it can get access to is the food I have baited the traps with but it won’t go near them. So, I am going to resort to plan B, it can’t posibly fail….or at least I hope not. Bring on the snake !!! Have always wanted one and have heard that it should scare out the rat. Don’t know how else to deal with a Mensa grade rat so i’m hoping that this’ll do the trick. Hopefully having the snakes tank in the living room will at least prevent it from venturing back in there. Will keep you posted. All the best.x

Hi Ricky and Jimmy
The show has just recently started being broadcast in Australia, so you are now internationally famous.
I’m already hooked, it’s a fantastic show.
I was wondering if you have ever seen a Rat King, where the tails of multiple rats have been tangled together.
James (in Sydney)
